Katherine Rockhill
Katherine Rockhill started playing the piano at the age of 5. She studied at the Royal College of Music in London, where she was a Foundation Scholar, major prize-winner and Junior Fellow. Upon graduating she won the college's most prestigious award, the Tagore Medal.
At the personal request of HRH the Prince of Wales, she twice performed at Sandringham House.
Emphasising her versatility, Katherine has played in many West End musicals including Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar, Crazy for You, Whistle down the Wind and My Fair Lady.
In 1998, on a very wet September evening, Katherine was the pianist for the premier of Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells 3 at Horseguards Parade in London. Katherine has performed with Lesley Garrett, Katherine Jenkins and the renowned Icelandic tenor Garda Cortez. Films include Mona Lisa Smile, Because of Winn Dixie and The Lakehouse by Oscar winning composer Rachel Portman. Katherine also made a brief appearance as the pianist in the critically acclaimed Edge of Love starring Keira Knightley.
